You cant compare this 2 games since there is a big diffrence in a how "deep" is the game. And yes, I played Crusaders 2, its a superb game of course, but that "deepnes" I was talking about makes many people who are just looking for a fun and easy going game as AOC make choose AOC. Plus multiplayer community on AOC in way better, since is based almost of being friends and some good going competition, which takes it peak during "May of Conquest" which clousure of many this year's event are going on in these days. Thats something Crusaders dont have and never will...
So yes, it would be great to have a more deeper version of AOC and keep the good online aspect of the AOC. To start with, on mobile online version of AOC should have been able to play all maps... Thats something I really dont like about AOC as it is right now...

@Karlas your complaint of AoC maps on mobile devices is not an AoC problem. The issue is most mobile devices don't have the memory capacity to run the larger maps. However, there is a mobile device that does have the memory and processing power to run the larger maps. It's called a laptop.

I don't think AOC3 is much different to AOC2 anymore since I added all the legacy features (a while back)? What's still missing from AOC2?

I just think that it wouldve evolved into a much better game if it stayed on PC platform, and maps on mobile platform are really horrible for my taste.

Agreed, the Android version isn't great! The problem is, it was difficult to work around the limitations (max. image size) on Android when I get started. What about the Desktop version? I believe there are several improvements such as automated map upload that are added that make things easier? What else isn't there in the Desktop version?

Klam AoCIII has never left the computer (PC, MAC, UNIX, Linux) so it an be played there if you're not happy with the mobile version. The Desktop offers more realms to play in: (Standard, Casual, Clan, Mobile, Tournament and League). The Desktop also offer more maps and better maps and scenarios. It also has an improved map editor and up and downloading tool. It also have the tutorial, demo game and rules just a click away. The main thing that I miss from version 2 that version 3 does not have. Is when I review the past turn moves I can only see my own and any captured enemies. I really miss not being able to see everybody's individual moves.
